Adding photos to your Bans content the easy way

Ok we have had many people having problems adding photos to their bans sites. So I have created a step by step process for you to follow. Do this a couple times and you will be uploading images and adding them to your build a niche store sites with ease.

So First off everyone always wonders where and how to load the photos to. The easiest way is to load them the same way you do your logo. Follow the steps below.

Step 1:

Go to your Template tab in admin and click it. The first template listed is the active one. Click on the upload logo link.

Note: This will not delete your logo unless you upload an image named logo.jpg.

Note: if you are not sure where the images were uploaded so you know what to put in the source box follow these steps. If you know your source skip past this section to section 8.

A new window or tab opens showing you just your logo image. Now look at the address bar and copy it to your clipboard or somewhere you can access it easy. See image below.

Step 8:

You will want to make sure your cursor is in the article where you are wanting the image to be placed. In our situation we are placing it in the left corner. See image below we have it marked with the 8 and highlighted.

Step 9:

Now we start to add the image info in the pop up window, if you lost your window just click the image icon again.

In the SOURCE box add the source code you copied from your logo in the steps above. We will need to change the last part of it from logo.jpg to whatever your image was named. In our sample you see it is called Titleist-695MB-Forged.jpg so we add that to the end of the source file.

Step 10:

The Title: This is used for search engine love. So place a title that describes the image. A good place to use long tail keywords.

Step 11:

Alignment: This is how you choose where you want the image to align. In our sample we want it to the far left.

Steps 12-13:

Spacing: When you place an image last thing you want is the words to bunch right up against your image. So you will use these 4 spots to adjust spacing around your image. In our sample we only have text hitting it in 2 spots the right and the bottom so we put in our padding we use. for us we choose 23. Adjust to your liking.

Step 14:

Apply button: Now is to test it out click the apply button and see how it looks. If everything looks good go to step 15.

Step 15:

OK Button: If you are happy with the looks click ok and you are set.

Note: You may of noticed I skipped a couple things. Boarder and width and height.

Boarder is simple if you want to add a boarder around your image just click the style button and choose the style and color and you now have a boarder around the image.

Adjusting the size. I find it easier to adjust the size of an image by clicking on a corner of it and dragging it to the size I want. If you happen to know the size of your image you can always put it into the fields and use it. All by choice here.
