Tip of the Month
How to Spin Content so it is Unique
Many people ask me what I do for content for my site. My first answer is get someone else to write it. lol Than I tell them if I am writing it myself I use two methods. First method is what I call back link method. Second method are the articles I hope people read and care about and follow the links to my site or entices them to buy. So lets get right into my madness.
Method #1 Back link method:
What is Article spinning? Article spinning is when you take an article that you wrote or someone else wrote and change (spin) it enough so it will pass a plagiarism checker.
This method is something I use to just get articles out there to help build back links. All I will do is go to an article site for example eArticle World and find an article related to the niche I am working on. Now I have tried many article spinner softwares and if you want to spin an article so no one can read or understand it than the spinners work great. But I for one when spinning an article want it to be readable just in case someone does happen to look at it. So now we have a sample article our next move is to edit this article. Here are the steps.
* Make a new title include a targeted keyword or phrase
* Take 2 words per sentence and change them. If you need help use a thesaurus, if you dont have one use this on line thesaurus.
* I also try to swap the paragraphs too.
* Make sure to work in your keywords or keyword phrases with the proper anchor text. (You can read more about that on our site)
Now that we have spun our article it is time to check the results. There are a couple sites you can use for this and the quickest and free one is Article Checker. When you go to article checker you will insert the spun article into the box and click compare. You can have it compare to all articles on Google and Yahoo. After it is done it will show you the results and the percentage of what content is still duplicated from what is already out there on the net. You want this percentage to be at 0% for the best results. I have used articles up to 10% with no problems but would not want to go any higher than that. The best thing about the checker it will show you the sentences that are duplicated so you can go right back to your article and mix those sentences up and check it again. Now remember this is the quick way to get content to use for submitting to article sites to help build back links, the next method is what I suggest you use for articles you add to your site or any where people may actually want to read them.
Note: As a side note you can also get PLR articles like the pack we are giving away in this newsletter and rewrite them.
Method #2 Content for your website:
If you are like us there isn’t enough time in the day for everything you need to do. So one way to save time is we buy my content for our personal sites and the ones we build for our customers. We have worked with many article writers and web sites that offer content and you just never knew what type of article you would get. We finally found a couple writers that we liked enough to hire to do all of our stores.
Here is our process that we like to use and it has worked well for us. We buy 500 word articles to use to submit to article sites since most of them require 450 words or more. With our writers we can get 5 articles for $20. Than we order some 250 word articles to use for content on the store pages. These come in packs of 10 for $25.
Now once you have added these to your web site and submitted the 5 articles to the article sites you can use Method #1 when ever you get free time and want to rewrite some articles.
Another option that has worked well for us is with the ezBANS article mod you can use it just like a blog and use the 10 article order and add one of them to your article page every other day and than hit the ezPinger and it is just like blogging on wordpress. You will have the spiders crawling your site and all you did was order a pack of articles and add them to your web site every other day.

Interview - We interview Jay aka JV63
What’s up BANS’rs?! We thought we would interview one of the BANS Vets this month so everyone can get to know them a little better. This month Start A Niche interviewed JV63. Hope you enjoy it!
SAN: Sup dood? So your name on the forum is JV63, is that what you like to be called or can we call you ‘one of the guys who got expired and reinstated’?
JV63: You can call me Jay =)
SAN: So, man can we get a little background on ya?
JV63: Um sure like what?
SAN: Hmm, good question lol. How about your age and where you live?
JV63: OK, I’m 45 year old New Jerseyite.
SAN: So…
JV63: Yup…
SAN: lol, how long have you been playing with BANS?
JV63: I purchased BANS in March 08 and had a site up in April once the change was made to epn.
SAN: How are you liking ePN?…nevermind I think I already know that answer since they expired you before =)
JV63: no comment, lol
SAN: Other than the BANS forum where else would your web history show us you have been?
JV63: I have a passion for fitness and frequent Bodybuilding.com, but I also read The Niche Store Builder (Mark’s blog), Build a Niche Store Blog (Soggy’s blog), and eBay itself.
SAN: What is the biggest thing you have learned from your experience with BANS?
JV63: That if you build it they will come is not true. That BANS is a tool but there is much work to be done after the building of a site (SEO, backlinks, content, etc.)
SAN: Let’s see, if you found a lamp while taking a stroll along the Jersey shore and you happened to rub it and a BANS genie appeared and offered you 2 wishes for BANS, what would it be?
JV63: I wouldn’t touch anything on the Jersey shore, lol. But if for some reason it did happen I would wish for the capability to handle php right in the content pages and complete integration with wordpress instead of others having to modify templates although it’s a great option to have.
SAN: What are your goals?
JV63: BANS related?
SAN: BANS or non-BANS, it doesn’t matter.
JV63: I want to hit the 5K per month goal. I want to continue to develop my web building skills and SEO skills. There’s always something new to learn and that’s what makes it fun.
SAN: Good answer, 5k/month is a goal I would like to achieve too, hope to get there this coming year.
